Meditation & Motion with Franklin and Dee
As the winter deepens, it is a time where we can find ourselves more naturally contemplative. What a wonderful time of year to turn inward toward the soul, nourish the body, and calm the mind.
In this two-hour special class, Franklin and Dee will guide you through a seated meditation, followed by a soulful practice of yoga, where breath is linked to the movements of the body. This will include gentle poses as well as deeper yin stretches suitable for beginners and advanced students alike. Throughout the yoga practice, you will be offered manual assists, mini-massages and aromatherapy to help relax the body and encourage the movement of energy.
The class will end with Yoga Nidra, also known as the yogic sleep. For this practice, you will be invited to lay comfortably on the back and guided though a visualization journey that will help integrate the physical practice with the mind. You will leave feeling refreshed, focused and deeply relaxed. Historically, this workshop has sold out very quickly.
