About Dee
About dee
Dee Yergo works with people who are ready for meaningful change in how they live, feel, and relate.
Many of the people who come to Dee already have some awareness of their patterns. They may also be familiar with what early childhood or past experiences impacted the "why" they do what they do. Yet insight alone hasn’t created the change they’re looking for.
Dee’s work focuses on the "how" of transformation. She empowers her clients to create new emotional and embodied experiences, interrupt familiar patterns, practice different responses, and turn what we understand intellectually into something we can actually live.
Her approach draws from more than fifteen years of work across meditation, yoga, somatic and emotional practices, group facilitation, ritual, and transformational work. Rather than relying on a single modality, Dee works experientially using the body, building meditation skills, and looking at emotions, relationships to help people discover new ways of being.
Her work is especially suited to people at a threshold: navigating a major transition, integrating a profound experience, outgrowing an old identity, or simply recognizing that understanding themselves is no longer enough.
The question at the heart of Dee’s work is simple: You know why. What happens when we begin working with how?

Additional Depth
Dee’s approach has been shaped by more than two decades of study, practice, teaching, and her own lived experience of profound change. Her work draws from yogic and Buddhist traditions, somatic and emotional practices, group transformation, psychedelic integration, and years spent exploring how people actually change.
Her own life has also demanded transformation. Through love, loss, motherhood, reinvention, and experiences that challenged her understanding of herself and the world, Dee has learned that insight can illuminate a pattern, while living differently requires practice.
This is central to how she works. Transformation happens through experience: by meeting what arises in the body, working directly with emotion, practicing new responses, and building the capacity to remain grounded as old ways of being begin to shift.
As a mentor, teacher, and writer, Dee continues to explore the intersection of personal transformation, embodiment, ethical leadership, and cultural change. She brings curiosity, rigor, compassion, and a willingness to keep doing the work herself.
