Nourish to Flourish Day Retreat
We don't take enough time to really nourish ourselves and recharge our batteries. It is only when we take time to restore, that we can truly show up for others. It's time to put your oxygen mask on first and take care of your well-being.
Join Dee for this mini-retreat experience. Included in the day is a:
Cacao Ceremony - Cacao is the seed of the plant that chocolate is derived from. If you have had dark chocolate you have had cacao. Cacao is a true superfood, containing antioxidants and flavonoids which boosts mood and energy. In indigenous culture cacao is intentionally consumed in ceremony. In the context of this retreat, we will be using cacao to open the energy of the heart and create intentionality and presence in the space.
Emotional/Somatic Release Tools -- Too often we are not given any tools to clear negative emotions such as anger, frustration, and grief. As a a part of the retreat you will be guided in a practice to release these emotions and clear space for your practice. These are also tools you can implement into your life
Open Level Yoga - We will incorporate a yoga practice into the experience that is suitable for experienced students and beginners alike.
Breathwork - Breath work is a multi-faceted practice that can be used to down-regulate the nervous system.
Yoga Nidra - Is also known as the yogic sleep or deep conscious relaxation. It is practiced from a comfortable position on the back and the intention is to come into a dream-like state of consciousness.
Journaling and Optional Sharing- Journaling is a great contemplative tool to access what may be present in the subconscious mind and emotional body. There will be time to optionally share any "a-ha's" that come up.
Lunch - Assorted wraps (vegetarian options available) will be served at the studio for lunch.
This retreat is open to all levels of experience.
